2. User-Generated Content & Listing Policy
Users who publish advertisements are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and authenticity of the content provided (including text, pricing, locations, and images). As a condition of use, you agree that you will not post content that:
- Contains fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive property descriptions.
- Violates any local Sri Lankan laws or third-party property rights.
- Contains malware, spam, phishing links, or repetitive keyword stuffing.
Boarding.lk reserves the absolute right to monitor, edit, filter, or delete any listing that violates our content guidelines or triggers ad network compliance issues without prior notice.
3. Limitation of Liability & Verification Warning
Boarding.lk is not liable for any financial losses, property disputes, rental disagreements, or fraudulent activities occurring between renters and landlords. Users are strongly advised to physically visit properties, inspect amenities, and independently verify identity credentials before exchanging deposits or executing rental agreements.
4. Premium Listings & Financial Refund Policy
Any fees processed for premium placement, featured ads, or subscription packages are immediately non-refundable upon publication, as detailed within our standalone Refund Policy.
5. Third-Party Links and Advertisements
Our platform displays advertisements served via Google AdSense and alternative third-party networks. We hold no operational control over, nor do we assume responsibility for, the content, cookies, or privacy practices of these external advertiser domains.
6. Account Responsibility
If you create an account on Boarding.lk, you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account profile.
